Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, who was born Amal Alamuddin from Lebanon, is a Lebanese and British barrister, who has been an activist for human rights for many years. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her career has earned her international acclaim for her accomplishments in international law and the field that deals with human rights. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney got married to American actor George Clooney and became a household brand in the popular media in the year 2014. Before that, she'd previously been a well-known name by the legal profession because of her capacity to advocate for clients. Her expertise ranges between social justice and human rights issues to representing multinational corporations during negotiations or court cases regarding the regulations of government.
